ABOUT ME

       Fitness has always been a part of my life. Since the day I could move, I was in sports. Through my various strength coaches, I picked up integral training techniques and proper structure. My mother, being a diabetic, taught me the importance of healthy eating and weight management, and the habit carried on.

       

       The importance of fitness was taught to me when I suffered a shoulder dislocation in my high school wrestling match. After surgery and physical therapy failed, I decided to rehabilitate it on my own by researching rehabilitative exercises and performing them at my local gym. 4 years later, I fully healed my shoulder and gained an appreciation and wealth of knowledge about fitness through independent study and trial and error. Through this experience, I learned that weight lifting was more than just about looking good, so I furthered my studies of fitness through the accredited National Academy of Sports Medicine program, and still today attend their continuing education seminars. After working under XSport Fitness in Chicago Ridge since 2014, I now train independently. I worked as a traveling trainer in Chicago while attending Depaul University. Till this day I continue to further my knowledge in all ways possible, from reading articles, to watching workout videos, to collaborating with fellow trainers.  

 

       What sets me apart is that, unlike most gym trainers, I take a holistic approach to training. Health is a packaged deal, which is why I value stability, form, posture improvement, flexibility, balance, and of course muscle building and weight-loss. You are only as strong as your weakest link. I also approach each client differently, one size does not fit all. Each client has unique goals they wish to reach, unpredictable schedules, existing injuries, unique dietal needs, and differing body types, which is why I create an individual exercise program and meal plan catered to each client. Aside from the technical aspect of training, positive motivation goes a long way, as does having someone who makes sure you do not drop the weights on yourself. 

 

      I hope to have the opportunity to share my passion and expertise so you can live an overall healthier lifestyle, not just for yourself but for your loved ones as well.

Get fit together! Group classes are a great way to bring a friend, spouse, or family member onto a fitness journey with you. Not only will you bond physically, but you will bond mentally as well and give each other the needed motivation. 

The best way to get the results YOU want is through 1 on 1 Training. Nobody knows your body, like you. A full intense hour of a personalized exercise routine will help you achieve your goals in the FASTEST way possible. The 1 on 1 attention allows me to focus fully on the client.
